DESCRIPTION
Litech Cable Tracer is used by cable technicians for pair identification, cable pair tracing and fault location in telephone LAN and other metallic cables. The Tone Probe uses a non-metallic capacitive tip to non-intrusively detect tones without metallic contact.
FEATURES
• Volume control for increased sensitivity and adjustable to suit work environment
• Recessed ON/OFF button prevents battery drain
• Power supply is in any 9V battery with a life of approximately 100 hours
• A plug receptacle is provided for head set or head phone
• Red and black test leads are provided, and has a standard 4 conductor modular cord and plug
• A 3-position toggle switch controls the modes of operation plus a 3 coloured LED light emitting diode is provided for line polarity
• Continuity and voltage testing
